THE ROLE:
- Managing rolling stock requirements engineering and assurance processes.
- Overseeing the design, testing, and commissioning of rolling stock.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Coordinating document reviews, transmittal processes, and approvals.
- Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Supporting the inspection, testing, and acceptance of rolling stock before deployment.
- Preparing and maintaining project status reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong experience in rolling stock engineering (design, testing, commissioning).
- In-depth knowledge of railway safety standards, reliability, and performance assessment.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes, technical specifications, and compliance assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
